Parker Farms has been family land since 1863. For over a century and a half, it has carried a farming tradition passed down through generations of the Parker family — long before the first wedding was ever held there.

At the heart of the property stands a Dutch-style horse barn, built by the family's grandfather in 1937. For decades, it sheltered the horses and mules that worked the land, standing as a quiet symbol of hard work and family perseverance. Rather than letting that piece of history fade, the family came together to restore it themselves, preserving its original character while giving it new life for a different kind of gathering.

In 2015, Parker Farms was officially recognized as a South Carolina Century Farm, an honor reserved for farms that have remained in the same family for 100 years or more. Two years later, in 2017, WildHorse at Parker Farms opened its gates for the first time, inviting couples to say "I do" inside the very barn that once housed the animals who helped build this land.

Walk the property today and you'll find restored timber beams, farmhouse chandeliers, and a stone hearth inside the barn, alongside a covered pavilion made for celebrating rain or shine. Step outside and open pastures stretch in every direction, giving couples and photographers alike endless backdrops of true Carolina countryside. Brides get ready in a separate bridal suite, tucked away from the buzz of setup, while the rest of the property settles into place for the day ahead.
